Vernese Best, Third Grade TA, was born and raised on St. Helena Island, SC. She is currently enrolled in school finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Vernese has worked in elementary education going on seven years now. Before moving to Denver to work here, she helped produce three children plays at Creede Repertory Theatre in Creede,CO while serving as an AmeriCorp member. Vernese loves theater and is always looking for ways to bring it into the classroom. She is very excited to be returning to DDES for another wonderful school year.
