Open House Tours
Open House Tours: DDES will be scheduling regular tours when Round 2 of Choice Opens. If you’d like a tour of DDES in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Brent Westrop, Executive Director, at brent.westrop@ddeschool.org

DDES Enrollment Priorities
Diverse by design
DDES will continue to focus our enrollment efforts on becoming a fully integrated K-5 public school, both racially and socio-economically. We believe that integrated schools have proven to be the most successful learning environments where students thrive and are most likely to reach their full potential.
Current DDES student race & ethnicity demographics:
Low Income Priority
District resident students who qualify for free and reduced lunch and/or who reside in a geographic area with a high concentration of students eligible for free and reduced lunch will be prioritized in Round 1 of the choice process at DDES.
Sibling/Household and Alumni Priority
It is the intent of DDES to support whole families and create a school community. Siblings of enrolled students will receive priority for admission if their choice forms are received by the designated deadline. Families may also apply for household priority. Household priority is given when a child who is not a sibling, lives with a current family.
