Maggie Waldner, Lead Interventionist, is thrilled to be joining the intervention team at DDES this year! After earning a degree in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Denver, she joined Teach For America and taught kindergarten in Brooklyn, NY for four years. Maggie then returned to school and received a Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education with a focus in Early Childhood Education, before joining DDES as a first grade crew leader. Maggie is originally from Colorado and is excited to be back teaching in Denver. When she is not working with children, Maggie loves to run, read, ski, and spend time with her puppy Luna.
