Korinne Wanek, Third Grade Crew Leader, is a Colorado native and attended The University of Kansas. Immediately following graduation, Korinne moved back to Denver where she received her teaching license at The University of Colorado Denver. Korinne first feel in love with EL education, as she watched her young students show pride and ownership in their work while teaching at Tollgate School of Expeditionary Learning. For the past two years, Korinne has been teaching at Vaughn Elementary. She is eager and excited for new adventures and to return to EL principles! When she’s not at school, Korinne enjoys being outside, reading and participating in as many running races or triathlons as she can!
