David grew up in Michigan and is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. David started his teaching career in ECE close to 10 years as a preschool teacher and also as a special education paraprofessional for 5 years. Outside of DDES, David loves to snowboard with his daughter, go to live concerts and spend time in the mountains exploring.
