CJ grew up in and around Denver and went to college studying physics at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. While in college I started working for an online non-profit providing educational summer camps and ignited an already kindled passion for educational equity. While out of the classroom, I pursue an ever-growing list of hobbies like reading, writing, video games, and I have previously performed in a band, an a cappella group, and multiple theater roles.
