KINDER TA
I am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and I’ve been working in education and youth development for the past four years, with a total of five years of nonprofit experience. I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) with a degree in International Studies and Chinese, and I got my start through AmeriCorps, serving both in El Paso and Aurora.
Since then, I’ve worked with several nonprofits, including Playworks, the Young Americans Center, and most recently with HighView. I have done everything from implementing safe school culture and leadership programs, to organizing marketplaces and galas. I am excited to bring my passion and experience to DDES!
Outside of work, I am a huge foodie, love exploring new restaurants, and spend way too much time (and money) on tabletop games like Warhammer 40k and Age of Sigmar. I am a huge nerd that loves video games, comics, and DND. I have recently gotten into cooking and have been enjoying learning new recipes. I also love sports, as March Madness is my favorite time of the year. I also have a dog named Korra who keeps me busy as she is very mischievous.
