I am Liza Hubbell and I serve as your Gifted and Talented Lead. I am originally from Southern Indiana, but have been in Denver for 30 years, and raised my daughter here. I’ve worked in different kinds of schools over the years in various roles, and I feel grateful to be in this wonderful Expeditionary school. The model serves neurodivergent students so well, building both academic and social emotional muscles. This is my fourth year at DDES, and I am on campus Thursdays and Fridays. I work with students on my caseload in small groups, grounding all our activities and investigations in social emotional skill building. My goal is to assist neurodivergent students of all kinds in learning how to leverage their learning profile according to their vision so they can thrive throughout their journey.
