First Grade TA
Hello! My name is Kayla, and I was born in Palo Alto, California. I moved to Colorado when I was 5 years old, and I’ve lived here ever since! I’ve been working professionally in childcare for five years and am dedicated to connecting with my community through educational opportunities. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my two cats named Goob and Arlo as well as reading mystery novels. One of my favorite authors to recommend is Jeffery Deaver. This is my first year working with the DDES team, and I am very excited to continue my journey as an educator in such a close-knit and vibrant community.
