Second Grade TA
My name is Jaryt Tripp, and I am a Second Grade Teaching Assistant at DDES. I’m originally from Southern Illinois and earned my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Southeast Missouri State University. During college, I studied abroad in Amsterdam, which sparked my love of travel.
After graduating, I lived in Geneva, Switzerland and New York City while working remotely in marketing for a tech company. I moved to Denver in January 2023 and soon after began pursuing a career in education. I’m currently enrolled in a post-baccalaureate teaching program and will begin student teaching in spring 2026, with plans to earn my teaching license at the end of the 2025–2026 school year. My path to teaching was inspired by my mom, a fourth grade teacher, and my years coaching youth soccer. Supporting kids’ growth—both in the classroom and on the field—has been incredibly rewarding.
Outside of school, I enjoy skiing, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my girlfriend, Hannah, and our two cats, Mabel and Evelyn. I’m also an avid sports fan and love following Denver’s teams. I’m excited to be part of the DDES community and to work with such thoughtful and curious students.
