Ja’Bria Manning

First Grade TA

I’m Ja’Bria (She/Her), or Bee, and I’m from Little Rock, Arkansas. I have a passion for art, education, history, and building community. I graduated from the University of Arkansas, May 2025, where I received my degree in Art Education: Community Practice and Photography with a minor in Art History. I’ll soon be starting graduate school for historical archiving, where I’ll have the chance to combine my passions into something fulfilling and fruitful for the community. I’ve been working with students from all grade levels through different creative outlets and in non-traditional spaces for five years. I’m excited to learn, grow, and explore many creative possibilities with DDES and its students as a 1st grade TA!

When I’m not working or in school, I spend the majority of my time with my nose buried deep in a book, creating art, baking too many treats for one person, or hyper-focused on one of my many other hobbies. I’m also a bit of a nerd who likes to do research (and sometimes write research papers) for fun!
I hope to be a great support not only to the students, but also to families and staff of DDES. If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want someone to connect with, feel free to contact me at ja’bria.manning@ddeschool.org
