Second Grade TA
My name is Ashley (Ash) Nguyen and I am a second grade TA at DDES. I grew up in CO and never left. I went to Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a concentration in behavior.
After graduating I found myself working a variety of jobs in fields such as Physical Therapy, Natural Resources to Parks and Recreation. Eventually I landed myself in Early Childhood Education where I worked with children ages 0-5. I realized I had a passion working with kids and decided to pursue elementary education. My long term goal is to become a full-fledged teacher. Working with kids is truly a rewarding experience.
Aside from the many ventures I found myself in, I enjoy staying active. I am a certified yoga instructor and have been teaching yoga for the past 8 years. I am an enthusiast for all things fitness and all things mental health.
